Launched a decade ago,The BAPCO Journal is the only publication in the UK written exclusively for and on behalf of all communications and information technology officers and decision makers within the public safety civil contingency response sector.
As the official publication of BAPCO (formerly British Association of Public Safety Communication Officers),The BAPCO Journal,serves to disseminate information on all aspects of communications and information technology.
All frontline officers and police community support officers (PCSO) in Barnsley now have access to police records on the move, meaning less time at the station and more time in the community.
The Fourth Modernising Policing Conference (CPD certified) will take place at The Barbican, London, 7th December 2010.
PageOne Communications has revealed the results of a recently commissioned survey of 500 operations managers at fire stations throughout the UK. The survey looked into current trends in technology adoption; changes in fire service expenditure; and managers’ views on future social and environmental threats.

Membership of BAPCO is open to all persons in the United Kingdom, the Channel Isles, Isle of Man and Ireland who are associated with the provision, maintenance, and use (managers, engineers, programmers, communications operators, end users, suppliers consultants) of civil contingencies communications and information systems.
