Workplace Representatives

Workplace Representatives

Our Workplace Engagement Project seeks to empower existing members to act as ambassadors for British APCO in order to recruit new members in their workplace, who can also then share in membership benefits.

We will equip you with information about British APCO and promotional materials.  If you are interested in becoming a Workplace Representative please contact us at support@bapco.org.uk

Mike Insherwood - Managing Director at APD Communications

Small Business Group Chair

Mike has worked in the IT and Telecommunications industries throughout his career. He has used technology to help both commercial and public sector organisations to reduce cost, increase efficiency and deliver better operational outcomes. As a control room geek, Mike loves being in control rooms and helping them to save lives through technology.

The Small Business Group exists to provide a representative voice for certain members of British APCO (subject to membership criteria).  The Group enables members to network, seek out business development opportunities, learn, influence markets and stakeholders and keep up-to-date with current, related developments.

The ambition is that members work collaboratively, to develop an understanding of capabilities within the group, and provide assistance to identify specific opportunities, products and services.  Working in partnership with UK Emergency Services, SBG members can deliver a vital contribution to help drive digitisation and transformation.
