The Edinburgh edition of the BAPCO Satellite Series is aimed at including those public safety members, users and suppliers who are not members of the traditional three blue light services, alongside the regular emergency services attendees. The 2017 Spring Event proved extremely useful to many of those who are not working directly with the ESMCP team to transition to the Emergency Services Network (ESN) and allowed discussion of many issues not previously covered at such events.

We are delighted to announce that the following speakers have been confirmed:

ESMCP Programme Update will now be given by Richard Hewlett, Deputy Programme Director and the Head of Live Service.

CONFIRMED

  • Helen Shapcott and Sarah Vant, Senior Consultants, Mott MacDonald will present on the implementation of MAIT, including an update on the London Project
  • John O'Malley, Client Director at Motorola Solutions will present on Airwave - still here and still working
  • Inspector Martin Leeland, Police Liaison Officer for Operational Communications in Policing, NPCC will talk to us about the Professionalisation of Airwave Tactical Advisors and how they are used
  • Martyn Wallace, Chief Digital Officer, Scottish Local Government Digital Office will tell us about “My Digital Office” - what we term a digital council, what it comprises of, how to get there and what it means for you and your organisation.
