Role Profile
Manage all contract aspects of the MCA project. Working in close relation with the Project Team this role will be key to supporting the cradle to grave delivery of the project from design, through to deployment.
Typical Deliverables
- Agreement of applications for milestone payments & Final Accounts with both client & subcontractor.
- Supporting Programme Lead with contract adminstration and management.
- Act as intial point of contract with customer on commercial or contract escalations.
- Lead and manage the change process in the Contract, tracking against Target Cost.
- Work alongside Supply Chain to support engagement with subcontractors.
- To effectively administer the commercial aspects of the contract in accordance with the parameters & timeframes as set out in the contract particulars.
- Upskill Project Team in the management and application of MCA Contract.
Experience
- Knowledge and practical experience in administering Target cost contracts
- Knowledge of working in a highly regulated and safety critical environment
- Knowledge of working in the construction sector, including safety and environmental requirements and how these are applied, monitored and improved.
- Excellent Client facing skills, comfortable engaging at senior levels within their organisation
- Experience of working in the infrastructure sector would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software in particular Excel.
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in an Engineering related subject or equivalent
- Must also be able to demonstrate depth of knowledge & experience in managing contracts within a safety critical context
