APD tells us "Last month we launched the first Control Room Awards to recognise the life-saving and life-changing work of control room staff working for the emergency services and within a wide range of public and private sector organisations.
Since then, we've been inundated with nominations and gathered support from many partner organisations. In celebration of the event and these unsung heroes, we've dedicated the December newsletter as an awards special issue, featuring the partners who have made it possible - from encouraging nominations from across their organisations, or by generously pledging sponsorship support."
