Launching the next generation of fixed networks with ETSI F5G. 

ETSI invites you to the launch of its new group on the 5th generation fixed network (F5G) with an online event, 

on 25 February at 4pm CET

We are entering an exciting new era of communications, and fixed networks play an essential role in that evolution alongside and in cooperation with mobile networks. Ubiquitous fibre connections are key to industry convergence and innovation of services and solutions.

The ETSI Summit - European Standards: Are Current Mechanisms Fit for the Future in a Changing Regulatory World will take place on 2 April 2020 in ETSI headquarters (Sophia Antipolis, France)

The event will address the new regulatory initiatives and challenges for industry and markets as well as the role European standards play.

The Summit will seek to improve the understanding of new dynamics and help to shape future actions in the light of EU policy and regulatory developments. In particular, how to:

  • Continue to support innovation and the competitiveness of European industry
  • Continue to help SMEs to identify & meet regulatory requirements
