23rd Jan 2023

Actica Consulting has joined the British Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (British APCO) as a corporate member, reflecting Actica’s long-standing support for public safety in the UK.  An independent firm providing business and technical services to the UK public sector and related organisations, Actica specialise in the design, procurement and delivery of digital services and associated business change activities.

British APCO is acknowledged as the leading UK-based association for all professionals using and developing public safety technology. It plays a pivotal role in the improvement of emergency services communications and information technology.
While members of the Actica team have been individual British APCO members for years, this marks the beginning of its corporate membership. As a corporate member, Actica will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of UK public safety and the sustainable, long-term, delivery of next generation services and technology.   This also provides a platform to share key skills and experience with the wider British APCO membership.

“We are delighted to join British APCO’s efforts in furthering public safety and our role in the public safety community will help shape how users can avail themselves of today’s cutting-edge technology”, said Robin Davis, Executive Director of Actica Consulting. “This is a critical time for the public safety community, as the market looks to implement next generation technology moving in new and innovative directions. By supplying our long-standing Mission Critical experience in the public safety sector, we will strive to complement the fruitful British APCO community.”

“British APCO are very pleased to welcome Actica Consulting as one of our corporate members”, said Duncan Swan, British APCO Chief Operating Officer. “They have a wealth of knowledge around ensuring user requirements correctly capture the latest technology and services; and bring a pragmatic dimension to helping public safety users implement the change that new technology can facilitate.
