British APCO hosted their annual Forum dedicated to Corporate Members on Tuesday 13th May where they provided updates on the latest British APCO activities and led constructive discussion around plans for the future, potential new activity and opportunities for change.
Attended by British APCO Chair, Chris Lucas, Chief Operating Officer, Duncan Swan and Trustees, Teressa Latimer and Jeremy Habberley, the forum is an opportunity for Corporate Members to have face to face discussions with the British APCO board as well as to network with other members of the Public Safety Communications community. The event coincided with the return of British APCO Sponsorship Manager, Jenny Lowrey, from maternity leave, giving her the perfect chance to reconnect with Corporate Members old and new.
Duncan Swan thanked the Corporate Members for their continued support of British APCO adding,
“Partnerships with our Corporate Members are integral to our mission to educate, advocate and innovate to improve public safety. Gaining the perspective of the different players within public safety communications is crucial, so creating the time to allow that to happen is essential.
"We are grateful to the Corporate Members who have taken the time to provide their insight today and look forward to the collaborations ahead. The day has provided plenty of food for thought for ourselves here at British APCO and those Corporate Members who all actively participated in today’s discussions.”
